Wrinkles are the first visible sign of skin aging. Years of repetitive activity of the mimic muscles, accompanied by progressive loss of elastic and collagen fibers, sagging and volume loss of facial fat pads as well as decreasing supply of water and nutrients lead to the formation of furrows and wrinkles in the typical areas. External influences such as sun, artificial UV light exposure, stress, nicotine and alcohol consumption additionally contribute to this process. Moreover, genetic predisposition can have dual, i.e. both a positive (slowing down) and negative (accelerating), effect on skin aging. The development of wrinkles is therefore inevitable, sooner or later.
Microneedling is based on the perforation of the upper skin layer with the help of "fine needles" or microneedles. We use AquaGold® FineTouch and TKN DermaRoller systems. These micro-injuries activate healing processes as well as collagen and elastin production to tighten the skin. In addition, microneedling allows bioactive substances such as Hyaluronic acid, vitamins, growth factors, antioxidants, botulinum toxin, autologous blood and others to be directly delivered into the skin for lasting improvement of the skin's appearance. Microneedling can be performed alone and in combination with other procedures (laser, injections, surgery). Indications:•Smoothening of fine wrinkles and other signs of aging•Reduction of mimic wrinkles around the eyes and mouth using botulinum toxin•Glowing complexion and skin regeneration•Reduction of large-pored skin•Reduction of fine scars•Lightening of pigment spotsThe costs range from 350 to 600 CHF per treatment, depending on whether it is a stand-alone treatment or combination with other procedures.
Facial contours change in the course of life and the aging process. At the beginning there is the face with its own proportions and its symmetry. Some faces are naturally more harmonious and are as such perceived as beautiful, while others are less so. Modern aesthetic medicine understands and uses the interplay of proportions in the critical areas of the face to create harmony and perception of beauty in appearance. In the first instance Hyaluronic acid fillers are used, in the second surgical corrections (more information available here).

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma and refers to a component of human blood. Injections of PRP have been used for many years in various fields of classical and aesthetic medicine. The growth factors and stem cells found in PRP are used to strengthen regeneration, structure and metabolism of the treated tissue. By using PRP, the power of the body's own healing power is utilized. PRP is one of the few methods available to individuals with allergies and/or others who face contraindications for other types of treatment. Indications:•Diminishing the signs of aging (wrinkles, loss of elasticity, grayish complexion).•Skin regeneration "vampire face lift“•Hair loss (androgenetic type and alopecia areata)•Scars*•Chronic wounds*(*medical indications)The costs range from 350 to 800 CHF per treatment, depending on whether it is a stand-alone treatment or combination with other procedures.
